The City of Laramie is hosting a public meeting to discuss the Undine Park Gazebo Project on Monday, May 4, 2015. The meeting will take place from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Laramie Depot Museum located at First and Kearney.

Representatives from Laramie Parks and Recreation along with those from the consulting firm Russell + Mills Studios will be at the meeting to hear public input, ideas, and to answer questions.

The city plans to build a gazebo in Undine Park during fiscal year 2017. This project is inspired by a gazebo that once stood in Undine Park and was removed likely in the 1930s or 1940s.

This is the second of two public meetings to continue the conceptual design for the Undine Park Gazebo Project. This meeting will seek input through public participation to assist in the continued development of the gazebo’s conceptual design.

Parks and Recreation Director Paul Harrison says community input will help in determining the gazebo’s size, appearance, location within the park and how closely it resembles the old gazebo.
