Two finalist candidates for the position of dean of libraries at the University of Wyoming are scheduled to give public presentations on campus this week.

Dean of the Portland State University Library Marilyn Moody will participate in a public forum on Tuesday, Feb. 2. Clement “Clem” Guthro, director of libraries at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, will participate in his public forum on Friday, Feb. 5.

Both events will be held in Room 138 of the Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center from 3-4 p.m. The forums for both Moody and Guthro can be seen, either live or recorded, through the WyoCast system.

Catherine Hamer, associate director of user services with the University of Texas Libraries, visited on Jan. 26 for her public forum. The final candidate to visit will be Ivan Gaetz, library director at Colorado College. His forum will be held Feb. 9.

The search committee continues to seek comment on each candidate. The university asks anyone who participates in any part of the interview process to complete a short online survey.
