Dr. Jeremy Haefner, Provost and Senior Vice President of Student Affairs at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Henrietta, NY, visited the University of Wyoming campus on Monday in his bid to become the next UW president.

Haefner met with UW faculty, staff, and students throughout the day before giving a presentation and engaging in a public forum at the UW Conference Center.  He responded to questions from community members including UW students and faculty, as well as City of Laramie Ward I Representative Andrea Summerville.

Haefner said that the most important takeaway from his academic career thus far is the importance of having an impact on any institution of which he is a part.

"It is critical that I look back and say whether or not I've added value to the organization that made a difference; that I have taken it to a new level," said Haefner.

Technical difficulties prevented the forum from being streamed live via the UW WyoCast System, but a complete audio and video recording of the forum is available here.
