Trucker Hit, Killed by Semi After Crash on Icy Wyoming Interstate

A 28-year-old trucker was killed during last Wednesday's blizzard after a semi pulling two trailers plowed into him on Interstate 80 east of Rawlins.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says Life Maisha, of St. Louis, Missouri, was involved in an earlier crash with another semi and was outside of his truck when the collision occurred.

The Patrol says Maisha became trapped between his trailer and the tractor portion of the semi and died at the scene.

The other truckers were not injured.

The Patrol is investigating whether the trucker who caused the fatal crash was driving too fast for winter conditions.
