Three Championships Are On The Laramie Sports Calendar Oct 30-Nov 5

Three post-season events are highlighting the Laramie Sports Calendar for the next week, and none of them are in Laramie.

The Laramie Lady Plainsmen Swimming and Diving team will compete at the 4A State Championships in Gillette. The Lady Plainsmen Volleyball team will be trying to qualify for the next week’s state tournament at the 4A East Regional Volleyball Tournament in Sheridan.

From the University of Wyoming, the men’s and women’s cross country teams vie for conference titles at the 2014 Mountain West Championships in Fresno, California. Cowgirl Soccer will conclude their regular season at home against CSU. Meanwhile, Cowboy Swimming and Diving has a road dual, and Cowgirl Volleyball tries to extend their five-match winning streak with two MW matches on the road.
