2023 Weather in Wyoming has been wild, from blizzards to tornadoes.

For the 10th year running the Laramie Peak volunteer fired department will be raising money to keep their fire hall open and up to date.

Gatorade, bottled water and granola bars are also requested.

The Forest Service eased the restrictions because of the reduction in human-caused risk, increased fuel moisture, and favorable long-term fire weather forecasts.

Matthew Elliott's sister says in a Facebook post that Elliott went out hunting around 6:30 a.m. Friday and did not return. But he has now been found safe.

Hunters will again have some extra help in finding elk and securing access in the Laramie Peak area for the 2014 hunting season.

The U.S. Forest Service has announced that Laramie Peak Trail will be periodically closed over the next two weeks as the Wyoming State Trail Crew does some necessary safety upgrades and trail maintenance.
