Wyoming high school basketball players have a new opportunity to showcase their skills in pursuit of playing at the next level.

After a big win last Thursday to qualify for the state tournament, the Laramie Plainsmen lost their last two games at the 4A East Regional Tournament in Cheyenne.

Reid Baty made the go-ahead lay-up with nine seconds left, as the Laramie Plainsmen beat Sheridan 52-50 Thursday night at the 4A East Regional Tournament in Cheyenne.

The single biggest day of the high school basketball season is Thursday for Laramie High School’s basketball teams.

The magic was in the air Thursday night. Laramie’s basketball teams went out with a bang in the final games at the LHS gym.

It’s a final farewell to a facility that’s been in use over the past 56 years. Laramie will play its’ final basketball games at the LHS gym Thursday.

The Laramie High School basketball teams went a combined 0-4 in their weekend road trip to Gillette and Sheridan.

It’s back on the road for the Laramie Lady Plainsmen and Plainsmen in 4A East Conference high school basketball action this weekend.
