UNDATED (AP) — The Chicago Blackhawks have played more than one-fourth of their season without suffering a regulation loss. But their lead in the NHL's Western Conference was cut to four points over Anaheim when the Ducks beat the Hawks 3-2 in a shootout Tuesday night.

Viktor Fasth made two stops in the shootout and 28 during the game to remain perfect in six starts. Corey Perry and Nick Bonino tallied in the shootout to give the Ducks a 3-1 record on their six-game road trip.

The Blackhawks were about to improve to 11-0-2 until Andrew Cogliano scored with 2:40 left in regulation.

Meanwhile, the San Jose Sharks still haven't won since they opened the NHL season 7-0.

The Sharks dropped to 0-3-3 in their last six contests with Tuesday's 1-0 overtime loss at Nashville. Colin Wilson scored at 2:08 of the extra session to support Pekka Rinne's (PEK'-uh RIN'-ayz) second shutout of the year. UNDATED (AP) — The Columbus Blue Jackets have fired general manager Scott Howson after nearly six years at the post.

The Blue Jackets went 173-190-59 during Howson's reign and made their lone Stanley Cup playoff appearance after a franchise-best 41-31-10 mark in the 2008-09 season. They are 4-7-2 this year following Monday's 6-2 win over San Jose.

In other NHL news, the Toronto Maple Leafs say goalie James Reimer will miss at least a week because of a strained knee ligament. Reimer was injured in the second period of Toronto's 5-2 home victory over Philadelphia Monday night. He is 6-3 with a 2.31 goals-against average and a shutout in 10 appearances this season.

The Boston Bruins have added depth at forward by signing Jay Pandolfo to a one-year, two-way contract. Pandolfo was placed on waivers, a move that allows the Bruins to send him to Providence of the AHL.

Minnesota goalie Josh Harding has told the Wild he's feeling a little "off" from medication he takes to fight multiple sclerosis. Harding was diagnosed with the disease last summer but hadn't experienced any setbacks or complications before now. The Wild recalled goalie Darcy Kuemper from their AHL affiliate before tonight's game in Vancouver.
