Both of Wyoming’s senators will be involved in the Laramie Jubilee Days parade this year. Senator Mike Enzi will be the Grand Marshall and Senator John Barrasso will be riding in the parade on Saturday, July 14th according to committee member Jesse Spann.

The theme for 2012 is “1890 – Celebrating Wyoming Statehood” as part of the purpose of Laramie Jubilee Days to promote and celebrate Wyoming’s statehood. The parade will start at 10 AM from 4th and Shields.

The Laramie Jubilee Days Parade is always a Laramie favorite. Marching bands, reunion floats, local businesses, horseback riders and more can be seen winding through the streets of Laramie. If you are interested in marketing your business, raising awareness for your organization or showing off a classic tractor or vehicle, applications are being accepted up to Friday, July 6th.

Enzi and Barrasso are not the only politicians taking part in Laramie Jubilee Days. Governor Matt Mead will be speaking at the Wyoming Statehood Celebration on July 10th at the Wyoming Territorial Prison.
