The summer off-season is in full swing for the Laramie Plainsmen football team with the 2018 season less than two months away.

The Plainsmen are busy with weightlifting and speed and condition work-outs. They also have some summer camp work in a couple of weeks.

KOWB’s David Settle recently caught up with Laramie head coach Clint Reed. He got the job just over a year ago and reflected on his second summer off-season, plus trying to get all programs at LHS going with a new lifting program that’s computer-based. Reed also discussed Laramie’s two former players in this weekend’s Shrine Bowl and more.

Practice for the 2018 season begins Monday, Aug. 6. The season debut is Friday, Aug. 24 at Kelly Walsh in Casper.
