The third WyoPreps Coaches and Media Softball Poll has the same top five teams but in a different order.

All five teams in the rankings are from the East Conference. The main changes see the two undefeated schools at the top. There is no tie this week. One team dropped two spots, while three stayed where they were last week.

Thunder Basin is No. 1 for the second consecutive poll. The Bolts earned 13 of the 16 first-place votes and are off to a 7-0 start this season.

Laramie moved into the second spot in the rankings. The Plainsmen are 6-0 to begin the 2022 season and earned two first-place votes.

Campbell County, which was tied with Laramie last week, is alone in third in the new poll. The defending champs still received a first-place vote.

Cheyenne Central fell from second to fourth in the new rankings.

For the second straight week, Cheyenne East rounded out the top five.

The only match-up that involves two ranked teams playing each other has No. 2 Laramie playing at fourth-ranked Central on Saturday.
