Local Sports Calendar For September 4-10 Is Full

Since it's early in the season, it's a busy time for sports teams from Laramie, whether high school or college.

All six Laramie High School fall sports teams and four from the University of Wyoming are in action over the next week.

Friday, September 5, 2014

From the University of Wyoming:

• Cowgirl Volleyball hosts the Uni-Wyo Cowgirl Classic -- 12 p.m. vs. South Alabama, 7 p.m. vs. Ball State
• Cowgirl Soccer at Utah Valley, 7:30 p.m.

From Laramie High School:

• LHS Golf at the Cheyenne Invite
• LHS Tennis vs. Cheyenne East, 4 p.m.
• LHS Cross Country @ Rawlins Invite
• Lady Plainsmen Volleyball at Gillette Invitational -- vs. Green River, 10 a.m., vs. Scottsbluff, NE, 2 p.m., vs. Glenrock, 6 p.m.
• Lady Plainsmen Swimming and Diving vs. Gillette, 4 p.m.
