Laramie Outlaws Bantam 14U Hockey Team’s Having An Elite Season
A pretty rare and remarkable feat was recently accomplished by the Laramie Outlaws Bantam 14U hockey team. They concluded the regular season undefeated.
Laramie went 20-0 during a season that started with games in late October and wrapped up just a couple of weeks ago. The Bantam 14U Outlaws team has out-scored their opponents 193-32 on the season. They started practice last September.
Head coach Jeff Eckert visited with host David Settle on Tuesday during the “Laramie Live on KOWB” radio morning show in the video above. They talked about the team’s season, how they attained their undefeated mark, some of the keys to their success, what lies ahead at the state tournament early next month, their preparation for games at state, and more, including the rise in interest in Outlaws hockey within the community.

Laramie Amateur Hockey Club (LAHC) supports six programs. All of them are gearing up for state tournament competitions in the next few weekends. The PeeWee 12U ‘A’ division state tournament is in Laramie this weekend, March 1-3 at the Laramie Community Ice and Events Center.
Good luck to all Laramie teams in the post-season!
