Another Laramie High School senior has received the STARR Charitable Scholarship to attend Michigan State University.

The STARR Charitable Scholarship was established in 1998 by an anonymous donor in order to provide educational opportunities for students in Wyoming and the upper peninsula of Michigan.

Ali Stark is one of two seniors to have received the scholarship this year. The other is Rhylan Huss. Requirements for receiving the STARR Scholarship include: a 3.0 GPA, a demonstrated academic interest, distinguished personal character, and leadership ability.

The STARR Scholarship pays for regular costs at Michigan State University for eight semesters, including: room, board, tuition, fees, books, and incidental expenses.
