Four Laramie High School coaches were recently honored by the Wyoming Coaches Association as they were chosen the Coach of the Year.

These awards are voted on by their fellow WCA member coaches for their respective sports in the 2021 Fall Sports Season.

Laramie’s Tom Hudson was the Girls’ Swimming and Diving Coach of the Year for Class 4A. He led LHS to a fifth consecutive state championship. His assistant, Tamara Bretting, was named the Assistant Coach of the Year for Girls’ Swimming and Diving.

Jill Stucky was named the 4A Coach of the Year for volleyball. She guided the Lady Plainsmen to their second straight 4A volleyball state championship earlier this fall. Laramie finished with an overall record of 32-2.

The final honoree was Anne Moore. She was chosen the Assistant Tennis Coach of the Year.

Congratulations to all four from Laramie High School. Well deserved!
