For the fourth consecutive year the Laramie Plainsmen had the individual winner in the class 4A boys race at the Wyoming State Cross Country Championships.

Junior Philip Henry earned the title of 'State Champion' when he crossed the finish line first at the Sheridan V.A. Hospital course last Saturday. His time of 15:52.05 gave him a three second victory.

Philip becomes the third in a line of Henry brothers to win the title. In 2013, it was Jonah Henry. The last two years, it was Chris Henry. Both now run for the University of Wyoming, but were able to make it to this year's state meet.

KOWB's David Settle caught up with this year's state champion, Philip Henry, to get his reaction to his accomplishment.
