Laramie’s Annual Ice Fishing Derby Is Open For Registration

The Laramie Plains Lions Club is proud to announce that their 30th annual ice fishing derby will be held January 7 & 8, 2023 and registrations are now open!

Registration opens from December to January 8. Head on over to the West Laramie Fly Store (1657 Snowy Range Rd.) to register.

The Event

  • January 7, Saturday: 8 AM - 4 PM
  • January 8, Sunday: 8 AM - 2 PM
• Location: Lake Hattie, Laramie
• Fees:
  • Adults: $35
  • Youth under 14 years: $5 **Must be accompanied by a registered adult & eligible for youth prizes only. Must be present to win.

Concessions will be provided by the Laramie Lions Club:

• Chili
• Nachos
• Hotdogs

• 2nd Largest Fish: $1000
• 3rd Largest Fish: $350
• 4th Largest Fish: $200
• 5th Largest Fish: $100
• Smallest Fish: $35

Youth:

• Largest Fish: $150 + Trophy
• 2nd Largest Fish: $100 + Trophy
• 3rd Largest Fish: $75
• 4th Largest Fish: $50
• 5th Largest Fish: $30
• Smallest Fish: $10
