How Far Will You Travel This Summer? – Survey of the Day

The prospect of summer seems to be a recurring theme on our Surveys of the Day. Many of us are looking forward to the break from work or school and the opportunity to take some time away.  While we encourage spending as much time in and around the Laramie area as possible, we do understand if you want to take a vacation away for a few days.

There are great getaway options all around Laramie from Vedauwoo, to Curt Gowdy State Park, to the Medicine Bow National Forest. Of course, some might want to go a little farther away such as the Tetons, Devils Tower or Yellowstone. Yellowstone’s roads are actually set to open up this week and there will also be free admission to the park for National Park Week from April 21 through April 29.

This is not to mention the various options in all our surrounding states- we certainly live in an area with many great destinations.  Wherever you decide to go this summer, we want to know just how far you’re going to travel…
