Governor Matt Mead issued the following statement about the death of Chief Warrant Officer 3 Andrew McAdams, a Wyoming National Guard Soldier killed in a plane crash in Afghanistan on January 10, 2014.

“I am saddened beyond words to learn of Andrew’s death. I saw him off when he was deployed. His commitment to this great country was deep; his bravery was remarkable – the utmost. We will never be able to repay him and his family for the sacrifice they made to protect our liberty and to make the world a better place. My family’s thoughts and prayers are with the McAdams’ family,” Governor Mead said.
