Dane Weaver Takes over as Football Coach in Ten Sleep

The Ten Sleep football team will have a new man at the helm as Dane Weaver will take over and he has a big job ahead of him. The Pioneers play in the 1A 6 man classification and have not fielded a team for the last two years due to lack of available players. Other smaller schools have faced similar challenges but Ten Sleep plan on giving it a go.

Weaver has worked with the middle school football program in Ten Sleep and will try an resurrect a program that has not made the 6 man playoffs since 2011 when they went 6-4. The Pioneers did make the 6 man semi-finals in 2010 and also made the playoffs in 2009.

Weaver by the way was named the Wyoming Teacher of the Year in 2020.
