Laramie Junior High School students Arundathi Nair and Sam Miller were recognized for their outstanding video submission to C-SPAN's StudentCam competition Tuesday afternoon in a ceremony at their school.

Aru and Sam got to tour the C-SPAN Bus, which has traveled the country for over 22 years educating audiences about the American political process through interactive multimedia platforms.

The students' winning video, "Access to Affordable Higher Education is the Investment for the Future," can be viewed at StudentCam.org.

This year's C-SPAN StudentCam competition received nearly 3,000 submissions. Only 150 videos from across the country were chosen as winners, including the video by Aru and Sam.
