What is privacy and how does it affect the general public? How will privacy change the way state governments conduct themselves? What will come of the state of Wyoming if the state's open records laws are changed? Is creating more privacy withing a governing body right? State legislators will be discussing those issues today in Laramie. Proposed changes to the state's open records laws are being considered in which some documents used in policy decisions would be exempt from public disclosure. Another pertinent issue at hand is a proposed change that would make a document private if it is sent to only a single individual of a governing body.

Another very important issue legislators will face off against today is that of what's been dubbed as "Caylee's Law." Legislators will discuss whether the state should pass a law making it a crime if parents or guardians do not report a missing child. This summer a Florida jury found Casey Anthony not guilty of murder in the death of her 2 year old daughter. Casey did not report her daughter Caylee missing for several weeks! The absurdity of not reporting a missing child  and the case involving Caylee Anthony has led to several changes to state laws in numerous states across the country.
