BREAKING: Albany County Schools Closed Again Thursday

You can almost hear the collective yelling for joy from students across Albany County School District No. 1. Schools will be closed again tomorrow.

ACSD No. 1 Superintendent Dr. Jubal Yennie had the school district release the following statement via email, text, and phone calls:

Albany County School District 1 will be closed on Thursday, March 14 due to winter weather conditions. Our primary concern is the safety of our students, parents, and staff. School buildings and district facilities will be closed. Bus routes will not run. All activities and field trips have been canceled.

This is the second consecutive day school will be closed due to Winter Storm Ulmer.
