The second annual Betty Kiser Memorial Chili Cook-Off is set to take place on Saturday, July 15 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event will be part of the Laramie Jubilee Days celebrations in downtown Laramie.

The cook-off will start at 8 a.m. with a cook's meeting, and continues with public sampling at noon. Red chili cooks will turn in their samples at this time, with green chili cooks turning in their samples at 1 p.m. Awards will be distributed at 3 p.m.

While there is no specific cut off date entries, the organizers of the event would like to have all entries submitted at least week before the contest. Entry fees are $15 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry. All proceeds will be donated to the Laramie Soup Kitchen.
