Wyoming National Guard troops serving in Kosovo got a special visit from one of their senators this Thanksgiving. U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) shared Thanksgiving dinner with members of Detachment Three, B Company, 777th Aviation Support Battalion stations at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo.

There are currently 23 Wyoming Army National Guard soldiers deployed in Kosovo. Barrasso enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with the service members, toured the base and was briefed by military officials on operations in the Balkans. Barrasso said in a release that it was an  honor to be with the Wyoming troops serving overseas.

Everyone in Wyoming can be proud of the outstanding job they're doing to keep us safe and free. As we count our blessings this Thanksgiving, I am grateful for the brave service of our men and women in uniform.
