Over the weekend, two wildfires caused evacuations in Albany County. Laramie is still safe, only receiving the smoky haze from the Squirrel Creek and Arapaho fires, but with the Albany County Fairgrounds now serving as an evacuation point, it certainly raises the level of concern.

Residents along Fox Creek Road have been evacuated while Albany and Fox Park are still under “pre-evacuation” meaning they need to be ready to evacuate at a moments notice. Do you think people in Laramie should be prepared to evacuate and have you taken steps to do so? Let us know by taking the survey below and sign up for CodeRED to give authorities multiple ways of contacting you in case of an emergency.
