Albany County is Starting Restorative Justice Practices [VIDEO]
The Albany County District Attorney’s office is implementing a new piece to how they prosecute certain offenses with restorative justice practices.
District Attorney Peggy Trent filled us in on what this is, the impacts it can have, how you can get involved and other parts to this. She was a guest during the ‘Laramie Live on KOWB’ morning show today (Monday) with host David Settle.
While the introduction is from 2:00-to-4:00 p.m. today (Monday, July 24), there still a chance to be part of the Community Group Conferencing Aug. 1 through Aug. 3 at the University of Wyoming College of Law in room 170. If you have any interest, please reach out to Maria at the County Attorney’s office at 307-721-1847 or call County Attorney Peggy Trent at 307-721-2552.
