With school now in session in Laramie, fall camp for the Plainsmen football team is winding down, as they prepare for the 2019 season.

Laramie held two-a-day practices for seven days, but with classes underway, practices have been scaled back to one per day with some weight training and conditioning in the mornings. The Plainsmen still have a big scrimmage before their opener in eight days.

In the video above, head coach Clint Reed talked about how their preparation has gone, their numbers, the competition at quarterback, and looking ahead to the new season for LHS with KOWB's David Settle.

Laramie lost 16 seniors off last year’s 4-6 team. The new season begins next Friday, Aug. 30 at 6 p.m. versus the Kelly Walsh Trojans at Deti Stadium.
