Next year's football schedules have been announced, and the Laramie Plainsmen will have five homes games for a second consecutive season. Year two of the Ted Holmstrom era will begin and end at home. It also features three straight weeks of action against the Cheyenne schools.

The 4A schools will play nine games again, as you face every team once in the regular season. While the order of games has changed, for LHS, only four of them are different from what was on the 2012 schedule.

The 2013 slate will begin in week 0 on August 30, as Laramie welcomes the Sheridan Broncs to the Gem City. In week 1, the Plainsmen have their first road trip, as they go back to Rock Springs to face the Tigers. Then, LHS will have 2 straight home games against Natrona County and Evanston in weeks 2 and 3. Next is a stretch of 3 consecutive games against the teams from Laramie County. The Plainsmen travel to Cheyenne Central in week 4 and Cheyenne South in week 5, before they host Cheyenne East in week 6. After a late season road trip to Gillette to face the Camels in week 7, Laramie wraps up the regular season at Deti Stadium in week 8 against the Kelly Walsh Trojans.

The first round of the playoffs isn't until November 1 and 2, 2013. The state championships will be at the University of Wyoming's War Memorial Stadium on November 15 and 16, 2013.

The first official day of practice for the Laramie Plainsmen will be August 12, 2013.
