RAWLINS, Wyo. (AP) — Three workers at the Sinclair refinery near Rawlins, Wyo., have been flown to a burn center in Colorado following a flash fire. Sinclair Oil Corp. says the incident happened inside a gas recovery unit at its refinery yesterday morning. A fourth worker has been treated and released. Salt Lake City-based Sinclair says there appeared to be little or no damage to the facility.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming authorities are investigating allegations by the Humane Society of the United States that workers abused animals at a Wheatland hog farm. The Humane Society yesterday released what it says is an undercover video showing workers abusing pigs at Wyoming Premium Farms in Wheatland. No citations have been issued against the farm.

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Government workers are set to begin hazing hundreds of wild bison back into Yellowstone National Park today after capturing a small group of the animals for use in a birth control study. The government is studying whether birth control can rein in the park’s burgeoning bi) son herds and reduce its rate of disease.

DENVER (AP)— A union representing about 350 Dex One Corp. advertising sales representatives in Wyoming and six other states says most have gone on strike as contract talks continue. The union opposes a proposal that it says would let the marketing and phone directory company outsource jobs and lay people off more easily.
