A Wyoming man has been sentenced to 12 to 16 years in prison after pleading "no contest" to injecting a woman with a fatal dose of heroin, failing to seek medical help and leaving her in a car to make it look like she injected the drugs.

The Gillette News Record reports 28-year-old Jacob "Wally" Wallentine of Gillette was sentenced Friday to eight to 10 years for manslaughter and four to six years for disposing of a body to conceal a felony.

Tamlyn Delgado, who was 27, was found dead in her car last Oct. 3 with a tourniquet around her arm and a syringe in her lap.

Earlier court statements indicated Wallentine texted or called several friends to find Narcan to reverse the effects of the heroin, but he didn't call for an ambulance.
