Wyoming High School Nordic Skiing State Championships

The 2020 Wyoming High School Nordic Skiing State Championships are Friday and Saturday west of Cody.

The Park County Nordic Ski Trail System at Pahaska Teepee will serve as the venue. This borders Yellowstone National Park.

GIRLS:

Teams Participating = Cody, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Lander, Laramie, Natrona County, Pinedale

Defending Champ = Jackson (seeking 9th consecutive title & 19th in school history)

Defending Event Champs = Abigail Whitman, Laramie – Freestyle; Kaylynn Sandall, Lander - Classic

Schedule:

Friday: 5km Freestyle, 10 a.m.

Saturday: 10km Classic, 10:30 a.m.

BOYS:

Teams Participating = Cody, Jackson, Kelly Walsh, Lander, Laramie, Natrona County, Pinedale

Defending Champ = Jackson (seeking a 2nd straight title, 10th in last 11 years, 15th in school history)

Defending Event Champs = Elijah Weenig, Jackson – both Freestyle and Classic

Schedule:

Friday: 5km Freestyle, 10:30 a.m.

Saturday: 10km Classic, 10 a.m.
