Two Wyoming athletes and one coach will be competing in the Special Olympics World Summer Games June 25th to July 4th. The games will be held in Athens Greece and will bring together thousands  of athletes from around the World.

The two athletes representing Wyoming are 31 year old Meghen Blumberg of Casper and 33 year old Tim Heckert of Worland. The two will be a part of Special Olympics Team USA which has 315 athletes and 125 coaches.

Blumberg has been competing in the games since the age of 16 and will be competing in equestrian events. Heckert has been competing  for more than 10 years and will be competing in aquatic events.

Representing the state of Wyoming as the states only coach will be Sarah Call of Cody, WY.
