The Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA) decided to allow live web-video streaming of the basketball championship games and the wrestling semi-finals and championships during the first day of the Board of Directors Winter Meeting.

Wyopreps reports several webcasting companies, including TCT West and RTcom, asked the board to reconsider its decision not to allow live webcasting of state events.

The board also set up a 4-way tiebreaker for football, defeated a motion to move the statewide scheduling meeting from the week of the state football championships to the week after, and placed 2012 state golf in Laramie for 4A, Worland for 3A and Lovell for 2A.

One issue not yet discussed was where to hold the state football championships.  That topic was tabled until Wednesday, February 9th.  The past two years the championships have been held in Laramie.  Bids are expected to come from Sheridan and Casper to host all classes and there might be an argument for going back to having the high seed in each class host.
