The University of Wyoming has announced  John MacPherson from Saratoga and Jeff Marsh of Torrington as the two newest members of the board of trustees. The joined the ten other board members for the first time last week.Governor Matt Mead made the appointments during his announcement during his statewide board, committee and commission appointments. The Senate followed up the appointments with a confirmation.

The board is responsible for governing the University of Wyoming and oversee academic policies as well as monitor the general welfare of the student body. MacPherson will be replacing Taylor Haynes of Cheyenne and Jeff Marsh will replace Chuck Brown of Wheatland.

Reappointed to the current board of trustees is Warren Lauer of Laramie and Dave Palmerlee of Buffalo. Terms for the four trustees will run through 2017.
