Texas State Football Expecting a Grind of a Game Against Wyoming [AUDIO]

After squeaking out a victory over Weber State to open the season, the University of Wyoming football team will host Texas State in War Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 4 p.m. David Settle and Steve Kiggins caught up with Bill Culhane, who does color for the Bobcat broadcasts, on Sportsline Live Thursday. Texas State is in a year of transition as they spend a year independent of a conference while preparing to join the WAC (an FBS conference) from the Southland Conference (an FCS conference). In short, they have 11 more scholarships available than an FCS school is allowed, but 11 less scholarships available than what an FBS school gets. The Bobcats will officially join the WAC in 2012.
