Multiple rounds of moderate to heavy snow are expected to impact mountain travel in southeast Wyoming over the next few days, the National Weather Service in Cheyenne says.
Heavy mountain snow combined with wind gusts as high as 60 mph could make travel "very difficult" in southeast Wyoming Friday and Saturday, the National Weather Service in Cheyenne says.
Another Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 8 PM Saturday to 5 PM Sunday for an additional 5 to 10 inches of snowfall with blowing snow and winds gusting up to 60 mph.
Lingering travel impacts could last as long as Thursday across many portions of the region and even Friday for portions of I-80 west of Laramie to Rawlins.
