Fatality

The Casper Police Department on Saturday evening announced that one person has died from drowning in the North Platte River.

The other juvenile occupant of the vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol has identified the two adults killed in a head-on collision north of Worland on Wednesday.

The Patrol is investigating the possibility that Ortiz may have been driving too fast for the slick road conditions.

The road conditions were slick at the time.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol confirmed Thursday that a crash on Interstate 80 about 8 miles west of Laramie has resulted in the death of one man.

There is no danger to the public in connection with the death, Romberg said.

The Patrol says everyone inside the Ford was wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
