Beyond the impacted Wyoming facilities, the diesel shop in Glendive, Montana will be permanently closed.

But with the closure, the programs were all canceled.

The closure order extends through April 3.

The ski area said its managers consulted with county health officials in making the decision, which they take seriously.

I-80 between Elk Mountain and Laramie was closed to light, high-profile vehicles due to gusting winds and an extreme blow over risk.

Also closed is US 30/287 between WY 34 and I-80 at Walcott Junction, with the same estimated reopening time.

Other roads in the park will remain open until Nov. 4, weather permitting.
