Laramie Ranger District fire crews hope to take advantage of favorable weather conditions this week to continue with prescribed burns in the northeast corner of the Pole Mountain unit.
Laramie Ranger District fire crews will take advantage of favorable weather conditions in the next week or two to burn slash piles on the Pole Mountain unit of the Medicine Bow National Forest.
Fire crews are beginning to burn slash piles at multiple locations across the Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests in Wyoming and Colorado in order to reduce the amount of dead fuels in the forests.
