A year ago, Warren Carr of Thunder Basin finished 2nd at 145 pounds in 4A and that's all the motivation he needed. In 2020, he took the gold medal at 152 with a pin of Sam Henderson of Kelly Walsh at 3:31. This was a rematch of last year's semi-finals at 145, also won by Carr so he wraps up the season with a record of 42-1. Talk about improvement! Henderson, the junior was 35-17 this season.

Powell's Seth Horton made his junior year count with a 5-2 decision over Clay Reiner of Buffalo to take the 3A crown. This was a tough match, to say the least, and Horton ended up with a 37-3 record for the season and Reiner concludes his prep career with a record of 42-4.

Over in 2A, Tryston Truempler of Shoshoni was a 2nd place finisher in 2019 at 145 pounds. He made it to the top of the mountain at 152 thanks to a 10-5 victory over Kyle Breen of Tongue River. Truempler had to earn this one to finish at 38-8 for the year while Breen falls to 27-11
