Special Olympics Wyoming Receives Check to Support Athletes
Special Olympics Wyoming received a financial boost Friday.
Subway's "You Share. We Share." Campaign donated $5000 to the organization.
"It's really going to just allow us to expand programs and increase our athlete reach, to be able to serve that many more athletes," said Bill Junge, Director of Special Events and Communications for Special Olympics Wyoming. "So we're just excited with the extra push from Subway."
Special Olympics Wyoming provides a year round program of sports training and athletic competition for kids and adults with intellectual disabilities.
"We serve, right now, 1,462 athletes," said Junge. "It's a great program and just growing all the time."
