Snow Removal-Ask the City
Question:
If I don't clear the snow from the sidewalk in front of my house, I will receive a citation. However, my neighbor uses a snow removal service that uses an ATV to clear their sidewalk, and they drive over my sidewalk to do it. Once they do, the snow is so packed that I can't remove it, do I have any recourse here?
Answer:
"As situations like this are civil matters between neighbors, it is often helpful to point out that the neighbor (or snow removal service) the problem created by their method of snow removal and impact on your property. Sometimes, a conversation can solve the issue simply because there was a lack of awareness of the problem"
