Report: Louisiana Tech to Play Non-Conference Game in Laramie
LARAMIE -- Wyoming has landed its second non-conference home game of the 2022-23 season.
Louisiana Tech will travel to Laramie this fall, according to a tweet from college basketball insider, Jon Rothstein. The Bulldogs, along with Grand Canyon, are the only known non-league teams who will play inside the Arena-Auditorium this season.
Tuesday, the university officially announced the Cowboys will take on Saint Mary's in the fourth annual Jerry Colangelo Classic inside the Footprint Center in Phoenix.
That game is scheduled for Dec. 21.

Wyoming will also face Howard Nov. 18 in the opening round of the 2022 U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam. Tip time is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. Mountain Time. The winner of the first game in St. Thomas will face the winner of the Drake-Buffalo game in the second round.
Jeff Linder's squad will also play a neutral site game Dec. 17 against the Dayton Flyers inside Chicago's United Center.
Louisiana Tech finished the 2021-22 season at 24-10 overall and boasted a 12-6 mark in Conference USA play. UAB knocked off the Bulldogs in the league title game last March.
Wyoming has won all four previous meetings with Louisiana Tech. The last time these two squared off was in 2011. The Pokes rolled to a 73-58 victory.
