Premier Bone and Joint Centers opened a new, state-of-the-art office in Casper today. The new facility is located at 5810 East Second Street. It is easily accessed from I-25 or East Second Street and sits among other regional medical facilities.

The facility has been in development for over a year.

“We’re ecstatic about the opening of this Casper facility," Premier CEO Tom Wolfe says. "This is something that has been in the works for a long time, we have worked really hard over this past year to make it a reality. We will now be able to provide services to patients that weren’t possible before with this state-of-the-art location.”

The new facility is one of Premier’s three full-service locations in Wyoming. Locations are also available in Laramie and Rock Springs. The practice first opened its doors in Laramie as Gem City Bone and Joint.

Technological additions at the Casper location include a full-body magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine and digital X-ray capabilities.

"They'll have their full-imaging services, so full MRI and X-ray, along with an upgraded office. It's more comfortable, more patient friendly--modernized. So they'll be able to have their full spectrum of orthopedic services there," says Premier representative Kendle Dockham.

“We bring the care to (patients) so they don’t have to travel as far,” says Dr. Mark McKenna, a hand, elbow, and upper extremity specialist. “It saves people the burden and takes pressure off our patients.”

Orthopedic specialty care offered at Premier’s Casper location includes:

“We offer specialties that aren’t available elsewhere and we provide the same level of high training and expertise that people think they need to go elsewhere to get,” McKenna says.

The Casper office is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
