Police Seek Information on Dog Bite
The Laramie Police Department is asking for information about a dog who bit a man last Friday.
According to a release, a man was bitten by a dog near Breazeale’s Trailer Park on North 9th Street. The bite occurred at about 11 p.m. on Friday, August 29th.
The dog is described as a jet black, large, muscular Pit Bull. The dog was wearing a collar with tags, and the victim was attempting to read the tags to find the owner when the bite occurred.
The Animal Control Unit would like to remind everyone that animal bites could involve exposure to rabies and that all animal bites must be reported to them immediately.
Should you be the victim of a dog bite, try to identify the specific animal and the owner’s contact information if possible. A picture using a cell phone is helpful.
