Planning Department Offering Tire and Refrigerator Disposal Vouchers

The Albany County Planning Office is providing a limited number of vouchers that can be presented at the Laramie Landfill for the free disposal of car and light truck tires and refrigerators free of charge.

Residents with the vouchers will be able to dispose of their tires and refrigerators at the Laramie Landfill from Monday, August 26^t until Saturday, September 7, during the landfill's regular hours (Monday – Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM).

Vouchers are available for pick up at the Albany County Planning Office (1002 South Third Street) or via email at planning@co.albany.wy.us . For questions please call (307) 721-2568. You must have the voucher in hand in order to dump the tires and refrigerators at the landfill.

This opportunity is provided through a partnership between Albany County and the Laramie Rivers Conservation District. Commercial landowners are not eligible for vouchers. Refrigerators must be cleaned out to avoid additional fees. Regular landfill fees apply for all other items.

The Laramie Landfill is north of town at 162 Roger Canyon Road.
