In August a female grizzly bear who had been getting into bird feeders, livestock feed and even damaged an outbuilding in the Shoshone River valley in northern Wyoming had to be euthanized, leaving the fate of her two bear cubs to zoo keepers at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The two Wyoming cubs are officially on exhibit now at the zoo and are making adjustments to their new home.

The two Wyoming cubs joined another pair of orphaned cubs from Montana. As of now the two Wyoming cubs are being alternated with the Montana cubs in the exhibit. All four cubs will be shown together once the cubs fully acclimate to the new settings.

The public named the Montana cubs Cooper and Cody. The public will also get a chance to name the Wyoming cubs. Anyone interested in helping name the orphaned cubs can do so until September 30th by going to clemetzoo.com.
