Shortly after taking a pickup truck from downtown Cheyenne, a Torrington man died when he rolled the truck on his way north.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol reports Kenneth Roark was on an Interstate 25 service road, Bishop Boulevard, when he couldn't negotiate a left hand turn.  A steering overcorrection caused the stolen truck to go into a broadside slide and then roll two times, ejecting the 44-year-old from the cab. Troopers are still trying to determine how fast Roark was going, but they do know he was going at a high rate of speed and was not wearing a seat belt.

When the crash occurred, the truck had not yet been reported stolen. Roark was declared dead at the scene of the crash.
