Laramie Woman’s Club Is Raising Money For A Good Cause

The Laramie Woman’s Club is in the midst of fundraising for the Downtown Clinic with “Flamingo A Friend!” across the community.

The “Flamingo A Friend!” project has a set of pink flamingos delivered for a donation to the cause. The recipient can have the flock removed for a donation of $10 or you can pass them along for $15. All the proceeds will benefit the Downtown Clinic that had over 2500 patient visits in 2018.

Mary Fick Monteith is the Laramie Woman’s Club Home Life Committee Chair. She spoke with host David Settle during the “Laramie Live on KOWB” radio morning show Tuesday about this fundraiser. Fick Monteith explained why their organization chose the Downtown Clinic, how the fundraiser operates, provided some background on the Laramie Woman’s Club and encouraged residents to help out a great cause in the video above.
